What makes SMART the best choice in interactive
whiteboards?
1. Operate with Pen and Fingerchoice in interactive
whiteboards?apable of recognising pen input,
but what's more is it can also recognise finger input, allowing
students to interact with the whiteboard completely through the
use of their fingers. The board is also capable of
distinguishing between the use of a finger versus the use of a
palm, and will allow you to use your fingers to write and your
palm to erase. Not many whiteboards offer this, and some operate
only through the use of stylus pens, which, if lost or broken,
render those boards unusable.
2. Notebook Software 10 comes with a whole school
software license
This allows you to install Notebook Software version 10 on the
PC connected to the whiteboard, on the teacher's PC, on any
other teachers' PCs in your school, and even on the students'
PCs. No additional costs are involved in buying software
licenses. Boards from other manufacturers sometimes only include
a single license for use on the single PC connected to the
board. This means that you cannot use it on your own laptop to
create lesson plans at home. Some boards also come with software
which will not run unless the board is plugged in, restricting
use even further.
